May 11: Death Penalty, Austerity, Obamacare
Fri May 10, 2013
In regard to the death penalty conversation, I wholeheartedly disagree with anyone who says that the death penalty is a deterrent to crime. I've spent(too)many years in prison and have heard many guys sharing some of the details of their crimes (that no one else ever heard about) some of them were d …

Who in the hell wrote this story? Are you Mad? People just died yesterday including an 8 year old little boy and here you are trolling for people's accounts? Who in the hell would want to ever talk about what they went through yesterday? Most of them are still in shock and what you want to capture h …

Helicopter 'hard landing' near North Korea border injures 21 US military personnel
Tue Apr 16, 2013
I also would hope that all the injured have a speedy and full recovery. It also makes me wonder about the effectiveness of the training the helicopter pilots receive? Are they getting enough or the proper training? Maybe the next time all involved won't be as fortunate.

The cold bloodlessness with which they committed these atrocities remains a mystery to me and so many others, but the real story is not the inhumanity of the Germans, but …

Wed Apr 10, 2013
Who are we, as a society, to tell someone else how much pain they must endure just to satisfy our own morality. I don't think that Death with Dignity Acts should be limited to just the terminally ill, it should also be extended to cover those who are in deep depression and have tried every type of d …
Pill nation: Are we too reliant on prescription meds?
Wed Apr 10, 2013
I feel somewhat sorry for the woman who said that now that she is on Methadone she feels alright! Wait until this poor woman tries to detox off methadone which has the longest half life of just about any medication on the market and is so hard to come off of that most rehabs and detoxes in this coun …
NY man cleared, free after 23 years in prison
Thu Mar 21, 2013
Mr. Ranta, Welcome home and I hope that you will not let the state of New York walk away from you without giving you every damn dime they have. How can anyone put a price on freedom, but let them err on the side of the defendant. I, too, spent nearly twenty years in prison and I know hard how extrem …
